Abstract

After reviewing the quantum dynamics of unbounded vortex pairs, the case of a vortex-antivortex pair in a box with a circular boundary is investigated. The appropriate algebraic framework in which performing the quantization is reconstructed and the structure of the vortex pair spectrum is discussed.
