Abstract
All the experiments described in Chap. 2 were performed in the low-excitation regime. What has been observed in a semiconductor microcavity is similar to what has been observed in an atomic cavity. So the question is: is there any difference between semiconductor cavity QED and atomic cavity QED? To answer this question, let us compare a dressed atom with a dressed exciton.
