Abstract
This chapter describes the internal structure functioning of the execution agents and demonstrates their capabilities of executing the transaction trees and guaranteeing the robustness of execution of agent actions. But a robust transaction model alone does not guarantee the success of the approach of transactional agents. The main challenge is to formulate the agent plan in the transaction trees and to communicate the plan to the Execution Agents. In the following chapter, we concentrate on the interaction with the other agents in the system. Using the conversation- oriented protocols, we should be able to transfer the various planning constructs and coordination patterns to the layer of Execution Agents middleware.
