Abstract
I’m Wenbo Mao, I work for HP Labs at Bristol, and I will be talking about Off-line Public Key Validation (PKV). First I’ll introduce: what PKV is, and then Off-line PKV, and the problem with RSA. Then we offer a new solution, and actually the new solution is a protocol. Then that protocol is made into an off-line one, so that just one party must run it, which makes it easier and more efficient. I will not talk about the protocol in detail, that’s all in the paper. Here I’ll be discussing more the protocol’s security properties.
