Abstract
In this introductory Chap. 1 we tersely review the basic notion of, and notation for, classical many-body problems in one-, two- and three-dimensional space, mainly by exhibiting the corresponding Newtonian equations of motion. We also tersely review the Hamiltonian formulation of such problems and we outline the notion of integrability associated with such Hamiltonian systems.
