5.4 Résumé
Ce chapitre, qui termine notre séquence de quatre chapitres sur l’existence d’un minimum pour une gamme de problèmes de minimisation, a été consacré à l’analyse du modèle de Hartree-Fock, clairement un des modèles capitaux du point de vue des applications. On y a vu que l’existence d’un état fondamental était connue, mais que son unicité (à transformation orthogonale près bien sûr) restait un problème ouvert, sans doute extrêmement difficile.
