Abstract
The study of arrays of interacting automata situated in the cells of a cellular array (cellular automata) originated in the late forties in the research of John von Neuman. They have found applications in many areas of human activity. In particular, ecological modeling based on cellular automata is suitable for finding adequate solutions in many situations. In this paper we discuss the program implementation of cellular arrays in the framework of the object oriented paradigm using ecological situations for guidelines and inspiration.
