Abstract
In this conclusive chapter we shall briefly discuss some other areas of physics and the astronomy where methods of Hamiltonian mappings play an important role. These areas are related to the problems of ray propagation in waveguide media, particle acceleration and planetary motion. In a good approximation these problems are described by Hamiltonian systems, and therefore they can be studied by Hamiltonian mappings.
