Zusammenfassung

Die Feinnadelbiopsie ist definiert als Biopsie mit einer Nadel von einem Durchmesser von 1 mm oder weniger. Durch ihren kleinen Durchmesser erlaubt sie eine risikoarme Aspiration von Gewebe zur zytologischen und histologischen Untersuchung aus Organen und Tumoren. Zur sicheren und erfolgreichen Biopsie bedarf es eines Ziel- und Überwachungsmodus. Eine Kontrolle der Feinnadelbiopsie kann durch Palpation bei oberflächlich gelegenen Läsionen oder sonst durch Verwendung bildgebender Verfahren wie Sonographie, Endosonographie (EUS), CT und MRT erreicht werden.
