6.5 Conclusion
This chapter described the development of iJADE WShopper — an intelligent shopping agent for mobile shopping (via a WAP device) — on the Internet. More importantly, iJADE WShopper demonstrated how different technologies (including mobile agent technology for mobile agent framework construction, Java servlet technology for server-side programming, WAP technology for mobile computing, and AI for intelligent machine learning, classification, and selection) can be successfully integrated into the iJADE model to develop a truly smart agent for MEB (mobile e-business). Hopefully it will offer a new insight not only into AI technologies, but also into how these technologies can be effectively applied to contemporary e-commerce and m-business.
