41.6 Conclusion
Renal transplantation can be successfully performed in children with end-stage renal disease due to severe lower urinary tract dysfunction. Before transplantation, a stable urinary reservoir and storage system are necessary. Close surveillance is imperative in children who have undergone transplantation into an abnormal native bladder.
