Zusammenfassung

Chirurgie und psychosomatische Medizin haben sich bei aller Verschiedenheit der ärztlich-therapeutischen Zielsetzungen durch die verschiedenen Behandlungs- und Heilungsaufträge des Patienten seit geraumer Zeit einander genähert und Formen der Kooperation erprobt, die sich zunehmend bewähren. Im Folgenden werden verschiedene Aspekte der Kooperation und ihre Probleme mit besonderer Berücksichtigung einzelner Tracerdiagnosen beschrieben und Anforderungen an die Rehabilitation des Patienten erläutert. Besondere Berücksichtigung finden die Prozesse der Aufklärung des Kranken und die Begleitung des sterbenden Patienten.
