21.6 Conclusion

Metabolic and endocrine diseases affect the entire skeleton. Recognition of the radiological manifestations of these conditions in the pelvis and hips should therefore stimulate inquiry into the relevant biochemical status of the patient and may also precipitate further radiological investigation as appropriate
