Zusammenfassung
Gerade bei proktologischen Eingriffen sind gewisse Grundkenntnisse des perioperativen urologischen Managements zu fordern. Durch die enge Nachbarschaft des Anorektums zum Ureter und zur Harnblase können pathologische Prozesse der einen Region durchaus auf die andere übergreifen. Man denke in diesem Zusammenhang an rektovesikale Fisteln oder auch an Erkrankungen der Prostata, die das Rektum betreffen können. Hinzu kommt, dass Eingriffe im kleinen Becken nicht selten zu urologischen Problemen, ja zu intraoperativen Verletzungen urologischer Organe führen können. Insofern gehören Basiskenntnisse des perioperativen urologischen Managements — soweit es das kleine Becken betrifft — sehr wohl zur Proktologie.
