Summary
This paper presents cutting planes which are useful or potentially useful for solving mixed integer programs that arise in the optimisation of gas networks. We consider polyhedra that are defining essential parts of the model and give a polynomial algorithm for the calculation of the set of vertices of such polyhedra implying a polynomial separation algorithm for the convex hull of the polyhedra can be developed.
