Zusammenfassung
Über die Jahrtausende hat sich die Sprache als effizienter Informationsträger herausgebildet. Neben der Mathematik eignet auch sie sich oft zur Beschreibung dynamischer Systeme und Prozesse in der Biologie, den Wirtschaftswissenschaften, der Soziologie und der Technik. Die verbale Beschreibung ist einfacher zugänglich und verständlich. Die mathematische ist quantitativ und präzise. Durch eine neue Klasse dynamischer Systeme, den rekurrenten Fuzzy-Systemen, kann man beide Modellformen, die verbale wie die mathematische, gemeinsam gewinnen. In diesem Beitrag wird dies beispielhaft anhand eines ökologischen und eines technischen Prozesses illustriert.
