Pankreasneoplasien können aus dem exokrinen oder endokrinen Anteil des Organs entstehen. Dieses Kapitel beschränkt sich auf die Tumoren des exokrinen Pankreasanteils. Der häufigste Pankreastumor, das duktale Adenokarzinom, stellt eine besondere Herausforderung dar, da in der Regel die Diagnosestellung im fortgeschrittenen Stadium erfolgt und die therapeutischen Möglichkeiten begrenzt sind.
