Zusammenfassung
Die antibiotikaassoziierte Diarrhö bezeichnet eine akute entzündliche Darmstörung, die bei und nach Anwendung von Antibiotika auftritt. Das klinische Spektrum reicht von einer passageren leichten Erhöhung der Stuhlfrequenz bis hin zur pseudomembranösen Kolitis, dem Auftreten eines toxischen Megakolons bis zu letalen Ausgängen [Bartlett 2002, Stein 1999].
