Abstract

Using a series of spectra excited by different heavy ion projectiles in different charge states the identification and the angular distribution of several Auger fines have been determined. For some transitions the presence of the A 4 term in the angular distribution has been demonstrated. The alignment parameter calculated for states of type 1 P,3 P does not depend on the number of electrons in the target, while a rather strong dependence on the projectile Z number has been found.
