Determination of magnetic field strengths in radio stellar binaries by VLBI observations

Abstract

Analysis of several VLBI observations using a gyrosynchrotron emission model for six stellar binary systems are used to infer coronal magnetic field strengths ranging from a few gauss to several hundred gauss.
