Abstract

Some of the salient features of nucleon-nucleon (NN) and antinucleon-nucleon (NN) couplings at intermediate energies are considered within a single scattering approximation. The role of distortion considerations in inelastic scattering is stressed and in the case of nucleon scattering, some of the implications of medium corrections to the NN coupling are illustrated. Examples of both relativistic and non-relativistic dynamics are considered very briefly for elastic scattering.
