Abstract

Different methods to characterize events of e+e annihilation into hadrons are reviewed which make use of the geometrical structure of the multiparticle final state in momentum space. Possibly such methods of jet analysis could be applied to the analysis of multiparticle final states in nucleus-nucleus scattering, which is the principal topic of this workshop. A list of experimental tests of quantum electrodynamics with jet analysis methods is also given.
