Abstract
We have measured the low field ac conductivity of the blue bronze K0.3 MoO3 in the charge density wave (CDW) state. For temperatures 70K and over an extended frequency range, our results are consistent with the model proposed by Cava et. al. Below 70K, however, there appears at high frequencies an additional relaxation mechanism. Associated with this new mode are unusual hysteresis effects and an ac conductivity similar to that found in TaS3.
