Long-range Heisenberg spin glasses in a magnetic field: Theory and experiment

Abstract

A survey is given of recent experimental and theoretical results concerning long-range Heisenberg spin glasses in a magnetic field, together with a tentative interpretation of certain formal aspects of the theory in physical terms.
