Abstract

In this talk we discuss the topological selection rules which govern the physics of multiquark states in the framework of the DTU theory. These new selection rules lead us to expect that narrow multiquark hadrons are rare, are strongly coupled only to some particular channels, and appear only in some restricted mass regions.
