Abstract
Raman spectra are reported on the quasi one-dimensional conductor K1.75Pt(CN)4·1.5 H2O (K(def)TCP).Two low frequency modes at 21cm−1 and 40 cm−1 are identified as TA and LA modes found at 2kF with neutron scattering. Two-phonon scattering yields information on the density of states at the Kohn anomaly. Luminescence observed near 5800 Å permits a direct determination of the Peierls gap.
