Abstract

We have summarized the results of an investigation into the symmetry properties of renormalization-group (RG) transformations. We also formulated problems for further research: (i) classification of equivalent Hamiltonians and corresponding RG transformations for 1-component fields; (ii) generalizations to lattice systems; (iii) Further study of the appearence of continious symmetry groups of transformations commuting with RG.
