Abstract

The two-cluster resonating group interaction is represented by a separable potential which rigorously conserves redundancy (Pauli forbidden states), takes care of the special features of Pauli affected states and rigorously reproduces the resonating group wave function at a set of chosen energies. The interpolation technique may be seen as an alternative to the unitary pole expansion.
