The structure of 3He and elastic electron scattering

Abstract

3He (e, e) data up to q = 10fm−1 are compared to charge form factor calculations for Faddeev- and variational wave functions. The model independent point density extracted from the data corrected for MEC and relativistic effects displays a surprising feature, a pronounced central depression.
