Part VI: Selected Galactic H II Regions
Part of the Lecture Notes in Physics book series (LNP, volume 42)

DR21 is one of the radio continuum sources contained within the larger source W75. It has been mapped over a wide range of radio frequencies and angular resolutions, besides being studied in the infrared and in ,a variety of molecular lines, and is also a region of OH and H2O maser activity. With high resolution observations the region is found to contain a whole complex of different objects, whose properties may be interpreted as representing the various stages in an early evolutionary sequence.
