Abstract

In this chapter, radiological relevant injuries of the temporal bone are described and illustrated by selected images: fractures including nowadays used classifications, ossicular injuries and labyrinthine contusion. At the beginning, possibilities and limits of single radiological methods in the diagnostics of the temporal bone trauma are explained. Thereby, CT is still the imaging method of choice.
