Abstract
This paper proposes a new consumer-oriented incoming call connection service (ICCS) provision. The architecture and implementation design of this ICCS is conceived to underpin the evolution of the proposed future ubiquitous consumer wireless world (UCWW) environment, founded on the consumer-based business model (CBM). ICCS design issues, architecture, core signalling flow elements for ICCS setup and operation, and standardisation issues are presented and discussed.
