Abstract

Nowadays, every country faces the necessity of the demonstration of its cultural heritage over the WWW due to its increasing role in national economy through tourism. This paper studies ways of achieving this goal through electronic auctions over the WWW. More specifically, we present an electronic auction system along with several brokerage scenarios depending on different customer needs for the mediation of transactions and product searching.
