Abstract
In the present chapter we investigate the asymptotic stability of the system
\(\displaystyle \ddot w + B \dot w(t) + Cw(t) = F (w,t) (t>0), \quad\quad (1.1) \)
where B and C are real constant n× n-matrices (n>1); F(h,t) continuously maps C\(^n \times [0,\infty)\) into Cn.
