Abstract

This chapter is devoted to the applications of the techniques presented through-out the book to some well-defined control problems: asymptotic stability of some combustion systems including transport delays in their models; stability analysis of some simple adaptive (Smith) controllers for SPR systems with some input delays; delay effects in autonomous cruise control; delay measurements induced contact instability phenomena for rigid manipulators subject to unilateral constraints, as well as the output feedback problem in the presence of time-delays.
