Conclusion

The staff who conceptualised and taught the CC Mathematics course still feel that it is an important and crucial component in the training of primary teachers. In fact, the National Institute of Education is now reviewing the other pre-service programmes for primary teachers and such CC courses will very likely be incorporated in these programmes as well in the near future.
