Abstract

In all of the Glass patterns that we have studied so far (with only a few exceptions in Sec. 4.8) the two original aperiodic layers, before the application of the transformations, were assumed to be identical (see Remark 3.1); in particular, they were assumed to have the same element shapes, usually black elements (dots or lines) on a white background.
