Abstract

Having prepared the required groundwork in the previous chapters, we are ready now to return to some of our questions that still remain open. Perhaps the most outstanding and the most intriguing one concerns the mathematical relationship between the phenomena which occur in the superposition of periodic or aperiodic dot screens that undergo the same geometric layer transformations.
