Abstract
The idea of creation of the ring imaging detectors for the high Z relativistic heavy ion detection applying charge coupled device (CCD) arrays as a X-ray photon detectors is discussed taking into account availability of CCD arrays and wide experience of their scientific applications in the field of experimental physics for the registration of the X ray photons. The results of the Monte Carlo calculations are presented.
