Abstract

This chapter is devoted to the analysis of beams of general Cartesian anisotropy under axially non-uniform loading distribution. It provides a solution methodology that is founded on a recurrence scheme, where in each level, a suitable Coupled-Plane problem (see S.3.4) is formulated and solved based on results of similar BVPs in previous levels.
