Abstract

This zone defines the transition area of the upper middle third of the nasal dor- sum. It is composed of very unusual and highly reactive nasal tissue that is part bone and part cartilaginous with the intervening connective tissue bridging these two distinct tissue entities. It is this very reactive connective tissue that gives rise to multiple revisional problems.
