Abstract
One main aim of the work behind this book was to structure and consolidate the achievements in the area of virtual organisations. Four dimensions were used as a basis for the analysis: concepts, models, infrastructures and industrial practices. The consolidation of these areas is discussed in this book together with implementation issues, which are a prerequisite for successful use of virtual organisations. In this concluding remarks chapter, some of the findings in these areas are commented in the perspective of further development. It is claimed that the consolidation of concepts and approaches, which is presented in this book, can be a part of a sound basis for further development and consolidation of the area.
