Abstract
Multiple objective location problems involve locating a new facility with respect to a given set of existing facilities so that a vector of performance criteria is optimized. In a major part of location planning, especially in regional and social planning, several decision-makers with different priorities are involved in the locational decision, which causes a growing need for efficient solution strategies for location models, including multiple objective functions; see, for example, Kuhpfahl et al. (1995).
