Conclusions

The evolution of IVF has been rapid and significant. Once available to only a few couples around the world, IVF is now a viable therapeutic option for thousands of couples. No longer considered experimental, IVF has become a routine part of infertility treatment protocols. Success rates continue to improve, and costs continue to decrease. As advances in technology continue to simplify IVF procedures, IVF is rapidly becoming a routine part of infertility treatment in the office.
