Abstract

For more than 15 years software agent has been a fascinating area of research. During the time agent systems have matured in terms of business application as well as technological support. After an introduction to the agent paradigm this paper describes the ‘Living Agents’ agent server and development toolset as an example of how tool support helps with setting up a business application using an agent system.
