Conclusion
The present clinical study was unique in its objective to evaluate the effect of antioxidants on the skin of human volunteers, in conditions of normal daily exposure to the environment. The results strongly suggest that regular topical application of antioxidants leads to long term protection benefits for the skin.
The antioxidant blend offers an immediate protection by significantly reducing lipid peroxidation at the skin surface.
Treatment over 18 months slows down some of the landmarks of the skin aging process:thinning of the skin, loss of elasticity and formation of lines and wrinkles.
