Design Study of a 900 MHz/1.8 GHz CMOS Transceiver for Dual-Band Applications

  • Chapter
Circuits and Systems for Wireless Communications

Abstract

This chapter describes the design of a CMOS transceiver targeting dual-band applications in the 900 MHz and 1.8 GHz bands. The receiver is based on a modified Weaver architecture, and the transmitter incorporates new methods of quadrature up-conversion. The receiver and the transmitter have been fabricated in a 0.6μm CMOS technology.
