Conclusions

When writing a widget we must be aware of the two types of code involved: The code to interface with Xt structures and the Intrinsics and the code that gives functionality to the widget. In general the former presents a lesser challenge, especially after we write our first widget; most of this code does not change much from widget to widget. The latter is no different than application code.
