Summary

Methods and processes are identified for quantifying the total behaviors of animals in terms of the quantitative living systems principles developed in earlier chapters. These methods and processes are shown to be applicable to the spectrum of animals from the simple single-cell animals up through humans. Sufficient data are presented to test these methods and processes and to obtain a high degree of confidence that the quantitative living system principles are applicable to the total behaviors of animals.
