Conclusions

The solubility, water and oil repellency, thermal and thermooxidative stability, and Tg are enhanced and crystallinity and water absorption are decreased by introducing hexafluoroisopropylidene units, rather than units of isopropylidene, into polymer backbone of aromatic condensation polymers.
